From Peter’s Desk: New Hampshire Primary

Yesterday’s New Hampshire primary results will come as little surprise to political poll watchers. The political pundit’s forecasts certainly have been more reliable than the TV meteorologists. The trend toward a rematch of the 2020 general election, pitting Joe Biden and Donald Trump as the Democratic and Republican Parties’ nominees respectively is becoming reality.

America is clearly divided. The duopoly’s push for power is to blame. Listening to candidates’ rhetoric leads one to expect the apocalypse should their opponent be elected in November. Their quest is to win. Their quest is to keep (or regain) control of government, and to implement a partisan agenda. That’s where the American Solidarity Party differs.

The ASP is not a huge political machine beholden to special interests and political ladder climbers. It’s a grassroots organization frustrated with the status quo but with a political vision. The American Solidarity Party doesn’t view people in terms of a political spectrum. It’s a movement with a heart for everyday people – for people struggling to keep up; for people valued merely for their votes.

Lauren and I are still off the radar of many voters. Though recognized by most media outlets, we are not viewed as worthy of mention. We are not necessarily news seekers, but we are attention seekers. We have a platform and a direction that seeks the common good. We have principles that promote human dignity. We have an approach marked by civility and decorum. We have a path that leads to unity and peace.

My ask from you this week is for your support in two ways. Share this newsletter with someone who is on a political island. Tell a friend or coworker what you have discovered about the ASP. Take a deep dive into its platform and reflect on what we consider to be its common sense approach.

Lastly, please donate to the cause. We are not the party of SuperPACs and elite-class donors. We are the party of Joe Lunchbox and moms and dads with big bills to pay. It’s for that reason that your $10 or $50 or $100 donation is meaningful.

Please send us your prayers as well!
